Rock Island State Park features 10 cabins located a half-mile from the natural sand beach along the Caney Fork River. The three-bedroom, two-bath cabins sleep up to ten people and are completely equipped for housekeeping and include appliances, coffee pot, microwave, cooking utensils, dishes, and linens. Each cabin also features a fireplace with gas logs (seasonal), a television, DVD player, and a charcoal grill.
Guests staying in the park can explore iconic natural features like famous Twin Falls and Great Falls, a dramatic 30-foot cascading waterfall, and the scenic Caney Fork Gorge along the Eastern Highland Rim.
Outdoor activities are abundant, with opportunities for boating, swimming, hiking, fishing, birdwatching, and relaxing by the water. During the summer months, visitors can also enjoy seasonal programs such as guided canoe trips, wildflower hikes, nature presentations, and educational tours.

Cabin rentals may be subject to a 3-night minimum during peak times (including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day) at park management discretion. Maximum consecutive stay from March 1 through November 30 in any cabin is 14 nights. From December 1 to February 29, the maximum stay is 28 nights.
