Calm coves provide ideal conditions for paddleboarding, while open water areas are perfect for high-speed watersports.
Camping around Center Hill Lake offers a peaceful way to experience the outdoors. Several campgrounds provide lakefront campsites, RV hookups, and access to hiking trails and boat launches. Whether you prefer tent camping under the stars or a more comfortable RV setup, the area offers options for every type of camper. Many sites are surrounded by forested hills, creating a quiet and scenic retreat.
You can enjoy nationwide one-stop shopping for reservations of selected Federal recreation facilities with the National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS). Advanced campsite reservations, including those for facilities at Center Hill Lake, can be made by calling toll free at (877) 444-6777 or at web address www.recreation.gov.
Shoreline camping is permitted in designated areas only. An advanced camping permit is required and can be obtained by contacting the Resource Managers Office at (931)858-3125.

Hunting on Center Hill Lake is allowed on most Corps of Engineers’ managed public lands that are not developed recreation areas, are not leased to other entities, and are not designated as “No Hunting.” All State hunting rules and regulations apply.
