Cookeville City Lake Waterfall
The 0.6-mile trail to the waterfall is paved, relatively flat, and short enough for kids and casual walkers. The waterfall at the end is the payoff — wide, powerful depending on the season, and framed by the surrounding woods.
Cookeville City Lake
City Lake itself covers approximately 35 acres — a man-made lake with a small boat ramp. The lake is stocked and popular with local anglers. You can expect to find bass, bluegill, catfish, and crappie. Fishing from the shore is easy along much of the lake’s edge. A Tennessee fishing license is required.
